Information about the plot for the episode “Treehouse of Horror XXVI“, which will air on October 25, 2015; has been released by FOX. The episode will be the 5th episode of Season 27 and the 26th installment of the Treehouse of Horror series. The plots of the segments were released a couple of months ago, but the official press release by FOX is the following:

In the episode …
“In the annual fright fest Halloween episode, Sideshow Bob finally kills Bart, only to reanimate him; Homer wakes up with short-term memory loss; and Lisa, Bart, and Milhouse get super powers from radiation.”

Guest Stars:
According to the Listing and to what it was already known, Kelsey Grammer will return to guest star as the most beloved murderer of Springfield, Sideshow Bob.
