Alf Clausen Fired from The Simpsons

Alf Clausen, long-time composer for The Simpsons, has reportedly been fired from the show after 27 years composing music for the show.

According to an article published by Variety, Clausen received a call from producer Richard Sakai who told him they were looking for “a different kind of music” for the show.

Clausen joined the show back in season 2, first composing for the original “Treehouse of Horror” episode. He has since gone on to score over 600 episodes of the show. Clausen has won two Emmy Awards and five Annie Awards during his tenure on the show.

Season 28 News: A new couch gag for tonight’s repeat of Pork and Burns was released!

At the start of tonight’s air of Pork and Burns, a new couch gag was shown.

Referincing the August 21st’s eclipse and Game of Thrones, it was made available on youtube shortly after.

A new episode title has been revealed by Al Jean. The episode, which is the thirteenth of the 29th production season (XABF13) is titled “Throw Grampa from the Dane“!

The episode will probably air during the 29th broadcast season (2017/18 TV season).

The list of episodes keeps getting filled up, as the title of the fourteenth episode of the 29th production season (XABF14) has been revealed. It is titled “Flanders’ Ladder“!

The episode will probably air during the 29th broadcast season (2017/18 TV season).

Season 29 News: New guest voices for Treehouse of Horror XXVIII have been revealed!

New guest voices for the next installment of the Treehouse of Horror series have been revealed!

The Exorcist(1973) director William Friedkin and The Exorcist(Current FOX Show) actor Ben Daniels will lend their voices in the upcoming Treehouse of Horror XXVIII episode!

Friedkin will voice Dr. Kenneth Humphries in a chapter titled “MMM… Homer,” which finds Homer cannibalizing himself after he runs out of food while Marge and the kids are away from home.

Ben Daniels will voice a priest in another chapter titled “Exor-sis.”

Season 29 premieres October 1, 2017. Treehouse of Horror XXVIII will air October 22, 2017.
