The plots of the segments of “Treehouse of Horror XXVI”
Sideshow Bob will finally kill Bart and then won’t know what to do with his life after having completed his lifelong quest.
Homer will wake up with short-term memory loss.
Lisa, Bart and Milhouse will get super-powers due to radiation.
When Marge gets sent to a women’s prison on a trumped up charge, it’s up to Springfield’s favorite plump schlump to get her out that dump. Yes, we’re talking about Homer Simpson – and posing as a woman, committing a crime, and going to jail in order to break his wife out of the slammer may be the least of his worries.
There has been a lot of rumors flying around the Internet that Homer and Marge will be breaking up for good in season 27. This has come from a recent interview with Variety (which you can read here) where Al Jean said “Homer and Marge legally separate”. Okay, now read that quote again. “Homer and Marge legally separate”. Where in that does it say “for good”, “for a season-long arc”, “forever”? Oh, yeah… NOWHERE!
Why the media have taken this and blown it up is beyond me. When has The Simpsons ever done a season long arc? Plot points very rarely extend longer than an episode. Homer and Marge have had trouble with their marriage in the past. But they have always gotten through it.
Also, I would like to point out that the information for this episode, which is the season 27 premiere “Every Man’s Dream” in which Homer and Marge separate has been known since January. That’s 5 months! It’s been known for 5 months that they will separate and it is only just brought up now!
Homer and Marge are not separating for longer than an episode so stop believing the crap the media is spreading.
Sideshow Bob started his quest to kill Bart some years ago (In 1990, to be accurate) and he has tried it an uncountable number of times. This fall, he will finally fulfill his lifetime ambition. He will actually kill Bart Simpson. This plot will be one of the segments of this year’s Treehouse of Horror (XXVI). The plot of segment will be that Bob kills Bart and then won’t know what to do with himself after his life’s mission has been accomplished.
The Simpsons‘ showrunner Al Jean told it while at their ATX Festival panel in Austin, Texas, on Saturday. Jean said he always wanted to see the Coyote get the Road Runner in Looney Tunes. So Bob will actually execute Bart.
Remember that this episode (“Treehouse of Horror XXVI“) is a Treehouse of Horror episode, so it will be a “non-canon” episode, which means that the events in the episode don’t take place in The Simpsons‘ timeline, so Bart will be back just after the segment ends.
What’s “in”? What’s “out”? What’s “hot”? What’s “not”? Ask the Simpsons! For some inexplicable reason, the members of our favorite family become the tastemakers and the trendsetters for world. What will they wear? What will they watch? Where will they go? Who do they know? And when will it all blow up in their faces? Then, find out what happens to Martin and Milhouse when Bart is nowhere to be found! Finally, after a run-in with the school bullies, Ralph is forced to learn the value of a dollar.
In May 17, 2015; the episode “Mathlete’s Feat” aired on FOX and concluded The Simpsons’ Twenty-sixth season. Now all the eyes are on the next season of the show, its Twenty-seventh season. Today is June 1st; since May 17th lots of news about season 27 have been announced. To make sure everyone interested in them knows them I’ll make a summary of almost every new announcement (or similar) about Season 27 that has been given until date:
The premiere is scheduled to air in September 27, 2015.
The plot of the season premiere is: Homer is diagnosed with narcolepsy — but instead of returning home with his prescription medication — he returns home drunk. He and Marge visit a marriage counselor and have a trial separation, during which Homer begins dating a 20-something.
Showrunner Al Jean stated on Twitter that Season 27 will have a total of 22 episodes.
This season won’t feature a Christmas-themed episode. But it will have a Valentine’s-themed episode in February (“Love Is in the N2-O2-Ar-CO2-Ne-He-CH4″).
The episode “Halloween of Horror” will be a “canon” episode taking place in October 2015.
The episode “Love Is in the N2-O2-Ar-CO2-Ne-He-CH4″ is going to be a Valentine’s Day-themed episode scheduled to air in February 14, 2016. (Exactly a Love-themed episode airing in Valentine’s Day). According to Al Jean, the episode won’t be about a “Homer and Marge marriage crisis”. It will involve Professor Frink.
