On Instagram Disney+ gave the simplified plot: “Lisa’s on a race against time to save Springfield!”

Meanwhile also releasing a more in-depth plot: “Lisa travels back in time to 1923 and discovers that the Springfield Mini Moose, once key to the town’s ecosystem, were driven to extinction in 1925. Teaming up with young Monty Burns, Lisa works to save the moose, but her actions unintentionally shape his future as a ruthless tycoon.”

S35 LogoA new Special Guest for the episode “Bad Boys… for Life?“, Matthew Modine, has been announced.

“Bottle Episode“, “Cremains of the Day” and “Night of the Living Wage” have been nominated for the 2025 Writers Guild Awards.

“Bottle Episode” was written by Rob and Johnny LaZebnik for the current season.

“Cremains of the Day” was written by John Frink, and “Night of the Living Wage” was written by Cesar Mazariegos, both for season 35.

The award cerimony has been postponed first from January 14th to the 26th, but recently has been postponed again to a date to be defined, due to the wildfire emergency in Los Angeles.
