Season 36 News: New information on the first three episodes have been announced!

200px-Season_35_artworkNew information on the first three episodes of the upcoming Season 36 episodes have been announced.

In an interview on LCJ Q&A Podcast, Matt Selman revealed new information:

John DiMaggio has been confirmed to have recorded his role on an episode today, probably the season premiere, “Bart’s Birthday“.

The plot where “Lisa has a blazing misadventure in the dark world of Capital City’s downtown art scene.” has been confirmed to be part of the third episode, “Desperately Seeking Lisa“.

On The  Futon Critic, Chloe Fineman has been confirmed to guest star (as Tasha) alongside Kelsey Grammer (as Sideshow Bob) in the second episode, “The Yellow Lotus“.

The title and plot of the Disney+ Short, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, has been announced!

The_Most_Wonderful_Time_of_the_YearThe new Disney+ Short, airing on October 11, 2024, has been announced to be called “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year“. The director for the Season 36 episode “The Yellow Lotus” has been announced too.

The plot for the short was also revealed by Hulu: “Sideshow Bob teams up with the most infamous villains of Disney+ to share the true meaning for the Halloween season. Filled with music, mayhem, and madness, this short from The Simpsons is simply to die for.”

In Al Jean episodes, Chloe Fineman, Topher Grace, Sidse Babett Knudsen and Kelsey Grammer (in another episode) will guest star. Jay Pharoah will guest star as Drederick Tatum in an Al Jean episode.

Season 36 News: New Disney+ specials announced: “O C’mon All Ye Faithful”, “The Past and the Furious” and “Yellow Planet”!

200px-Season_35_artworkAt the end of Disney’s D23 2024 the cast announced a new set of three specials for Disney+, with the first airing on December 17, 2024, and the rest airing during 2025. The titles of the specials were reveasled at the event and reported by TVLine.

The specials are part of the 35th production season and will be part of the episode order.

The first episode is a double-lenght episode, which is why the other tweets report 4, and it’s the previously announced “O C’mon All Ye Faithful“.

Another episode is called “The Past and the Furious“, which we have no information, while another is called “Yellow Planet“.

Informations about a plot of one of them was also announced.
