The Yellow Lotus“, 2nd episode of the season, scheduled to air this Sunday, October 6, 2024, will feature an opening based on The White Lotus’ season 2 opening.

It’ll have lyrics added to it: “Hot bodies, and murder/ Rich, sexy people behaving badly/ Makes you feel better about being broke and unknown/ Symbolic statues and endless brunch/ How do they eat like that and still look great naked/ Are they on ozempic?”, written and sung by Kara Talve.

‘The Simpsons: Tapped Out’ game to end in January 2025!!

After 12 years, on September 26, 2024, it was officially confirmed by EA that the The Simpsons: Tapped Out” game would be ending in January 2025. It was revealed with an in-game message with the 252nd and final update of the game, the Taps content update.

As of this last update, in-app purchases have been disabled. The game will be found in app stores until October 31, 2024. Then, it will still be playable until January 25, 2025. Then the servers will be shutting down and the game won’t be accessible anymore. During the months previous to the shutdown, all previous game content will be made available in waves.

Tapped Out started on February 2012. The game centered around each player building its very own version of the town of Springfield, setting buildings and unlocking characters from the show. During 12 years, the game has delivered more than 250 content updates, more than 700 characters and more than 1000 questlines.

Thanks to the transcription on ActionScoop of the interview on LCJ Q&A Podcast, we have revealed information:

The production team have a big fun side project for the fall on Disney+ they’re working on, never done before.

For the first Disney+ Special, “O C’mon All Ye Faithful“, there’ll be cool and interesting musical guest stars.

In “Desperately Seeking Lisa“,  Lisa spends a crazy night in Capital City, which is like our New York, and has the most insane positive negative romp of slightly surreal madness that you could ever imagine. He also announced that Richard E. Grant is in it as the main guest star.

Mark Proksch will guest star in an unknown episode.

In an interview on LCJ Q&A Podcast, Matt Selman revealed new information:

John DiMaggio has been confirmed to have recorded his role on an episode today, probably the season premiere, “Bart’s Birthday“.

The plot where “Lisa has a blazing misadventure in the dark world of Capital City’s downtown art scene.” has been confirmed to be part of the third episode, “Desperately Seeking Lisa“.

On The  Futon Critic, Chloe Fineman has been confirmed to guest star (as Tasha) alongside Kelsey Grammer (as Sideshow Bob) in the second episode, “The Yellow Lotus“.
