Stephen Hawking Dies Aged 76

World renowned physicist and The Simpsons guest star Stephen Hawking has died at the age of 76.

Stephen Hawking made several appearances on the show, voicing himself via his voice synthesizer. He also made an appearance in The Simpsons: Tapped Out as a playable character.

In 1963, Hawking was only given a few years to live due to his amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, which gradually paralyzed him over years and could only communicate via a voice synthesizer. He passed away peacefully in his home in Cambridge on March 14th.

Hawking first guest starred on the show in the season 10 episode “They Saved Lisa’s Brain“. His daughter, Lucy Hawking, knew one of the scriptwriters for The Simpsons who was interested in writing an episode involving Stephen Hawking, and she convinced him to guest star.

“Bart goes to prankster rehab after a clown-mask prank terrifies the town and destroys Krusty’s career. A tortured Krusty then tries his hand at serious drama with a regional theater company.”

Guest stars
The episode will have Jon Lovitz, Damian Kulash and Tim Nordwind guest-starring as Lewelyn Sinclair, Himself and Himself; respectively.

The list of episodes continues to fill up, as the title of the second episode of the 30th production season (YABF02) has been revealed. It is titled “‘Tis the 30th Season“!

The episode will probably air during the 30th broadcast season (2018/19 TV season).

Season 29 News: Next episodes’ air dates have been shuffled

Episodes

The Next episodes’ air dates for the upcoming season 29 episode have been shuffled, and as Chris Ledesma reported in the previous news, the schedule is moving around and not defined.

Homer Is Where the Art Isn’t and 3 Scenes Plus a Tag from a Marriage have been switched again and moved back one week.

Homer Is Where the Art Isn’t will air on March 18th as the 12th episode instead of the 13th episode.

3 Scenes Plus a Tag from a Marriage will air on March 25th as the 13th episode instead of March 11th as the 12th episode.

No Good Read Goes Unpunished was moved to probably air in April with the other episodes, Fears of a Clown, Forgive and Regret and King Leer, moving too. The April schedule has not yet been defined.
